Summary
Performs variety of cleaning and janitorial services in assuring the cleanliness, neatness, and orderliness of the client’s facilities including mopping, scrubbing, floors, and trash removal. This position may participate in set-ups of special events and flexibility is a must.

Scope of work:
Directly responsible for daily cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting areas within housing facility for isolated and quarantine individual s with possible COVID 19. Ensures all work accomplished according to customers and company’s specifications
Duties:
- Restroom cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting
- Rooms cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting, remove all Linen and Towels
- Rooms replace Linen and Towels
- Dusting, Vacuuming, mopping
- Glass and window cleaning
- Identify customer needs and relay information to the site supervisor
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and CDC Guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting
- Assist in Delivery of meals and Snacks to guest outside of room
- Assist in picking up all discarded food at the end of every meal left outside of Guess room
- Self-inspect work to ensure the tasks are being followed
- Ensure tasks are being performed timely and customer doesn’t have to remind company about
- Use flexibility in cleaning schedule to address emergency or non-emergency situations.
- Solve problems effectively

- May open the facility.
- Dust all uncluttered desk tops, file cabinets and counters, partitions, ledges, window sills.
- Clean all water fountains.
- Clean kitchenettes or coffee areas including the walls behind trash cans.
- Empty and damp wipe all trash cans and replace liners as needed.
- Remove all collected trash to designated area.
- Fully vacuum all carpets from wall to wall.
- Re-arrange furniture neatly.
- Dust mop all hard surface floors.
- Thoroughly vacuum designated areas.
- Spot wash fingerprints from doors, door casings, door frames and light switches.
- Keep assigned areas orderly at all times.
- Wash all countertops, cabinets, and refrigerators.
- Clean and disinfect all public and private telephones.
- Dust all low surfaces (chair and table legs and rugs, baseboards etc.)
- Dust and polish trash receptacles.
- Dust and polish the exterior of all directories, information desks and surrounding areas including wall hung fixtures.
- Clean custodial closets and all equipment.
- Clean glass partitions
- Ash tray maintenance and cleaning.
- Replenish paper products
- Detail vacuum corners and edges
- Dust and clean blinds.
- Maintain outside cleanliness
- Follows all safety policies and procedures.
- Adheres to professional attire policy; complies with company uniform policy.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Required to perform any duty as assigned by supervisor to participate in the success of the company.
- Change light bulbs
- Light carpentry and plumbing repairs
- Other various tasks on a ladder; ie whipping excess oil off sprinkler coupling joints
- Identify solutions to janitorial challenges
- Urinal crystal prevention-identify product to use, specify frequency, get it into Freh’s rotation
- Snow removal and de-icing
- Carpet cleaning, fabric furniture steam cleaning
- Deep cleaning concrete floor
- Vacuum exterior porous pavement
- Moving furniture, furniture layout set-up
- Quarterly storm water inspections
- Clean under vestibule grates
- Clean roof drains, harnesses/fall protection required
Experience and Educational Requirements:
. Vaccinate and proof
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in general cleaning knowledge.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in the English language.
- Possess the ability to transport cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ability to climb stairs and walk.
- Ability to continuously bend, stoop, and lift heavy objects.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Constant: Hearing, seeing, walking, bending, stooping and climbing stairs, lifting less than 15 lbs.Frequent: Standing, speaking, pushing, reaching, lifting 15-25 lbs, and carrying objects weighing up to 15-25 lbs.Occasional: Kneeling, crouching and lifting over 50lbs with assistance.I have read and understand the performance criteria expected as a Custodian I for Team Clean, Inc.
