Position: Service Technician for Mount Ridge Apartments- Catonsville, MD
Role Overview
As a Service Technician for Mount Ridge Apartments, you will help maintain the physical integrity of this beautiful community with 266 apartment-homes.
Most Important Responsibilities
- Work closely with your team members to complete service requests and make-readies in a timely fashion with high quality craftsmanship.
- Share your knowledge with coworkers and assist each other when challenges arise.
- Go above and beyond the call of duty for residents to provide excellent customer service.
- Manage your time wisely and communicate throughout the day.
- Anticipate problems that residents might have before they even occur.
Most Important Qualifications
- MUST BE A GO-GETTER with a proven track record of stepping up to the plate and taking initiative.
- 2+ years of recent hands-on experience in apartment maintenance, preferably on a garden-style community with high standard for customer service.
- Solid track record of HVAC skills, CFC certification, plumbing, drywall, carpentry and electrical.
- Technical skills should also include the ability to troubleshoot/repair/maintain HVAC components (mini split-system units inside the apartment that function like a heat pump).
- Must be willing to pull call in the rotation.
- Ability to assess and address problems quickly, good organization skills and strong follow up.
