As a Senior Product Owner, you will be a part of the product team, reporting directly to the Head of Product. You will work with a scum team to help refine, deliver, and document products and features. The role requires you to be detail oriented, excited about problem solving, and an effective communicator. This role is accountable for successful product delivery, the quality of products being delivered, and cross team coordination. Working closely will multiple organizations across the company, the Bakkt product team collates, prioritizes, and defines all crypto product deliverables Bakkt brings to market.
Product owners are essential for bringing a technical perspective to product strategy discussions, ensuring the correct prioritization of work, and communicating effectively about the status of development work. Many of Bakkt’s programs span multiple teams and being outspoken is essential.The Product team acts as a core central coordination mechanism at Bakkt, across every stage of the product lifecycle from idea to production, and as such collaborates across all internal teams, as well as prospects, clients, regulators, partners, and other third parties. Product Owners will work with Product Managers to better define the business case and prioritizes across the respective product lines and provide detailed requirements for engineering delivery quarterly.Responsibilities
Product Strategy: Work closely with the Product team, Sales, Marketing and Client, the Product team develops and executes a comprehensive product strategy to deliver revenue targets in line with Bakkt’s overarching corporate vision and objectives. Identify market opportunities, refine approved opportunities, and define the product roadmaps to drive growth and revenue.
Product Delivery: Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and stakeholder feedback. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify scope, and manage expectations throughout the product development lifecycle. Refine stories with the development team and support them through the development cycle.
Product Ownership: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the product, market, and industry landscape. Be the champion for your product and ensure that others working on cross functional projects are aware of your products capabilities and limitations.
Product Refinement: Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, user feedback, and metrics to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Review products against competitor’s offerings ensure and highlighting where ours might need improvement.
Reporting and Alignment: Work with Product Managers to ensure organization and clear reporting of project statuses. Actively participate in project forums being the champion for your piece of a project. Assist product managers with status updates and informing stakeholders of any issues.

The type of candidate we are looking for:
3+ years in Product Ownership experience.
Passion for the crypto industry required.
Crypto and traditional market infrastructure knowledge preferred (Trade, settlement, etc.)
Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management and organizational skills.
Deep understanding of scrum, the delivery process, and how to manage cross team collaboration.
Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve consensus and drive decision-making.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, excel, and powerpoint.
