LOCATION: Odessa, TX
POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Warehouse Manager ensures inventory control functions and processes are followed and ensures inventory is properly managed from receipt to shipment. Interfaces with production managers and production planners on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments. The materials team is responsible for accurate accounting of shop inventory and leads all efforts in performing the annual and periodic cycle counting. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. - Ensure material is received, stored, counted, and shipped according to procedure
- Ensure standard material is staged when needed and shop productivity is not compromised
- Meet/exceed budgeted inventory terms utilizing lean initiatives
- Effectively manage and reduce overstock through inventory data analysis
- Eliminate expired material through proper stock rotation (FIFO)
- Create and execute a disposition plan for slow/obsolete material, minimizing financial impact
- Manages budget regarding department supplies/expenses to reduce total cost
- Supervises a staff of salaried and hourly employees, providing instruction, training, and feedback to ensure they are able to handle any basic department task
- Ensures department compliance with QA manual regards to inspection & resolution of defective material
- Organizes and supervises the annual inventory count and any cycle counting required to maintain accurate inventory records
- Oversees shipping to maintain OTD.
Other Requirements
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory

Required Education and Experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, bill of materials, part dimensions, and tolerances strongly preferredExtensive experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Strong technology skills including use of computer/printers and scanners
- Experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and the ability to learn proprietary systems required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in person and via phone)
WORK ENVIROMENT
This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses tools and other such equipment during the course of the job duties. Provided Personal Protective Equipment, as well as steel-toed boots or shoes, must be worn at all times.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Some limited travel will be required. Up to 10%.
