Our world-class team includes experts in all aspects of spacecraft subsystems design, development, and test, on-orbit operations, and safety.About The PositionIntuitive Machines is searching for a skilled & dynamic Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our incredibly exciting, growing company. This role will report to the Talent Acquisition Lead. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing highly technical requisitions through the entire recruitment process and will be highly adaptable, with the ability to organize & prioritize requestions per business need.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Talent Acquisition Lead to further develop & implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, career fairs, and networking events.
Manage multiple requisitions at once, working directly with hiring managers & technical experts, ensuring clear & consistent communication flows throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Collaborates with department and project managers to identify project needs and desired qualifications for technical and engineering staff.
Reviews resumes, verifies academic records and previous work experience, and conducts interviews or identifies the appropriate staff or agency to conduct these tasks.
Create candidate write ups that detail strengths & weaknesses to potential managers to convey candidacy potential.
Ensure feedback & timely updates are provided to candidates throughout the lifecycle.
Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing and hiring strategies.
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management. Maintains contacts in the engineering community through active participation and membership in professional societies.
Drafts and publicizes recruitment efforts in appropriate and relevant places that may include online sources such as LinkedIn, and educational and professional journals and publications.
Manages correspondence and relationships with college placement officers, engineering professors, and professional employment services.
Attends engineering , DEI & Veteran focused job fairs.
Partner with Talent Acquisition Lead & Human Resources to foster retention-based activities and events.
Partner with Talent Acquisition Lead & Human Resources in building Intuitive Machines presence in the Greater Houston community digitally & in person.
Provides salary range guidance based on current, competitive compensation levels in the area.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Minimum 5 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, handling high number of requisitions solely & in a team setting.
Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and other sourcing platforms.
Technical proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
Advanced Microsoft (MS) Excel skills, strong MS Office skills, and ability to quickly upskill on new technologies
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, ability to interface with all levels of candidates and management.
Technical ability to use tools at hand to showcase actionable talent acquisition metrics like time-to-fill, submittals to hire, etc.
Creative approach to problem solving and ability to prioritize activities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy while multi-tasking
