JOB TITLE:
Jr. Audit Support Associate
LOCATION:
100% remote
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Provide clerical support for all functions within the Audit department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Opening audits/setting up and requesting medical records and/or billing needed for the audit.
- Updating Medlogix Diary, adding to tracking report as well as updating tracking report continuously.
- Following up on requested medical records and/or billing.
Audit referral inbox. New audit requests received when electronic referral is sent, or audits released from triage.Outlook inbox, which contains faxes and emails sent to audit department.- Upload Medical Records/Billing emailed/faxed from hospitals and insurance companies.
- Managing Messages in Medlogix regarding Audit.
- Uploading Audit and EOAR and creating “Audit Packet” in Medlogix; also emailing reports if needed.
- Handling new referrals; Accessing database to obtain docs needed and adding claim to Medlogix in order for documentation to be uploaded etc.
- Closing audits and sending Billing to Finance.
- Maintain communication with your supervisor.
- Other job duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
Required
:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be process and task oriented.
- Computer savvy and previous experience using Microsoft Office Products
Preferred
:1+ years’ experience with medical bills and records
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or Equivalent experience
