POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
To work effectively and efficiently in a manufacturing/warehouse environment to receive and schedule shipping and freight operations. Assemble and visually inspect mechanical products using a variety of tools.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the Essential functions.
- Packs and unpacks orders while maintaining department schedule
- Monitor and visually inspect merchandise received.
- Create shipping documents and pulling inventory from shelves.
- Building assemblies or single components.
- Packing, labeling and boxing products.
- Meet production quality and quantity standards on the shift.

- Housekeeping as it applies to job or work area.

- Preferred ability to drive a forklift.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must have average reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Must have computer skills.
- Must be able to use measuring devices.
- Must follow company safety procedures at all times.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses tools and other such equipment during the course of the job duties. Provided Personal Protective Equipment, as well as steel-toed boots or shoes, must be worn at all times.
Physical Demands
- Moderate walking and climbing
- Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; and stoop
- Regular, predictable attendance is required
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
