Position Summary: 


An electric motor mechanic works to identify issues and repair electric motors used in a variety of equipment such as field cores, bobbins, armature cores, electrical motors, generators, and control axillary box. Make connection copper ring or jumper.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Basic Knowledge of production and manufacturing processing.
  • Knowledge of raw materials and quality control.
  • Able to dismantle electric motor to inspect the rotating equipment that the motors use to generate power.
  • Repair or component replacement.
  • Able to diagnostic tests and preventive maintenance.
  • Record production and operational data.

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • 1-2 years of experience in electric motor repair shop.

  • Able to actively listen and quickly read to make informed and necessary decisions promptly.
  • Having a good and steady and dexterous hand.
  • Ability to cut, strip, grind, bend wire leads, or solder at end of coil. 
  • Knowledge on how to examine and test rotating motor.
  • Able to identify different types of AC/DC motors.
  • Ability to work under the close direction of supervisor.
  • Able to use overhead crane, drive forklift.
