JOB SUMMARY
:
To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member and providing overall support to PATH vehicle fleet and supporting the Program Supervisor as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED. Experienced in commercial transport preferred and ability to use a computer is a must.
SPECIFIC DUTIES

Assistant Responsibilities
Assist Program Supervisor with scheduling vehicles for maximum use (i.e., group trips), monitoring mileage, repairs and updating the transportation tracking system, as needed.Ensure that proper first aid kits and blankets are contained in each vehicle, request supplies as needed.Support the Program Supervisor with reporting all incidents/accidents to the insurance company and COO.Ensure that all vehicles are properly registered and that vehicles contain the appropriate documentation for registration and insurance. Ensure that handicap vehicles have the appropriate plates.Ensure daily maintenance check lists are completed for each vehicle.Serve as a backup for daily mail pick-up from all satellite locations.Able to perform supervisory duties when the Program Supervisor is not available.Driver Responsibilities
Support PATH Vehicle Fleet as needed.Complete vehicles log each run.Maintain key control, keep track of spare keys for the entire fleet. A must for emergencies reason.Perform maintenance and safety checks on vehicles each morning and afternoon before leaving the parking lot. Inform Program Supervisor of needed repairs arranging and transport for vehicle maintenance.Distribution of insurance and registration for vehicle fleet and ensuring renewals are processed timely before expiration.Ensure vehicles are cleaned and monitor the vehicle’s condition and reporting back any unusual sightings.Provide mail pickup and distribution from internal mailroom at 1919 and 8220 locations. Provide transportation support to CEO as needed.Provide transportation support as needed to programs/departments.Other duties as assigned.
