Job Purpose:
The Mechanic maintains and refurbishes lifting assemblies and other various machinery/mechanical assemblies.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and refurbish pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electric powered machinery
- Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs
- Document service and repair actions by completing forms, reports, inspection checklists, FAT's and load test certificates
- Perform other duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work in elevated areas and exposed environments
- Ability to use hand tools and work with power supply systems
- Ability to operate forklift and manlift equipment
- Ability to mitigate additional damage by working with a high degree of precision and control
- Strong mechanical reasoning and aptitudes- diagnostic skills, understanding of various mechanical elements
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check
