About the Position


 This newly created position will manage the schedule and prioritization of the production floor.  This position must meet company revenue demands while enabling efficient production needs and efficient operations. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Create the production schedule for the factory incorporating short and long term plans.
  • Identify capacity, capacity constraints, and identify solutions.
  • Work with production management to implement the plan.
  • Define and implement KPI metrics.
  • Maximize on time delivery of orders.
  • Minimize production line changeover disruption.
  • Support shifting demands of customer needs and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate production enabling efficiency increases.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 


  • Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
  • Results oriented and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
  • Proven analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and MRP acumen.
  • Experience in manufacturing/distribution environment.

Education/Experience: 


  • 6 years or more of experience in production planning ideally in a manufacturing setting ideally. Or a comparable amount of education and experience to support planning experience.
