Position Overview:
As a Software Developer, you will provide technical leadership within the Food and Drug administration (FDA) Web Content Management Systems (WCMS) program to a build a web based, microservices and containerized enterprise solution. In this position, you will provide technical leadership and mentoring to a project team. You will have outstanding client engagement skills and conflict resolution skills.This position is remote. Successful candidates must reside in the US and be able to complete a Public Trust background check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience with design, develop, test and deploy in your current and previous experience.
- Experience with XML and Javascript
- Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Javascript, Dart, Typescript)
- Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Nexus, Bitbucket)
- Good understanding and minimum 3+ years of working experience in full-stack software development lifecycle and services delivery.
- Experience in Application architecture and design expertise in UI, middleware, database, security, and infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Java, Python, Web API Services, Microservices, MuleSoft, Cloud Development (AWS/Azure), Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge and working experience with DevOps implementation and automated CI/CD pipeline using Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, SoapUI, JMeter, Selenium, and other similar tools
- Working experience with Agile development process
- Knowledge and working experience with various web development frameworks are highly desirable
- Must be able to demonstrate strong ability to develop design artifacts and present solution to the customer
- Able to develop, manage and maintain Software Development Life Cycle Artifacts.
- Broad IT industry knowledge, expertise in one or more technical areas: User experience, SOA, Microservices, Enterprise Service Bus, database design, access and identity management, high availability infrastructure
- Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, at minimum
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 4+ years of professional experience; or 2+ years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
