How You Will Make an Impact


  • Assistant Brand Manager will study and analyze Pet supplement market research to identify opportunities. Monitor market trends, and competitors’ activities. Identify new projects and research needs that support the brand strategy.
  • Develop and keep a competitive marketplace grid that details products, pricing, and promotions for Pet HealthWorks (PHW) and competitors in key channels: direct to consumer, marketplaces (Amazon, Chewy and Walmart.com) as well as the Veterinary Channel.
  • Assistant Brand Manager will develop and maintain a calendar of promotional activities across channels.
  • Support the Marketing Brand Manager and PHW Sales Director in the sales events, conferences and trade shows including the development of sales/trade materials.
  • Assistant Brand Manager will develop and maintain the annual marketing budget with monthly actuals and coordinate the expenses among all the relevant teams.
  • Work collaboratively with the Ecommerce Manager, Marketing Brand Manager and Marketplace Manager to ensure that all the assets needed for direct to consumer (DTC) and marketplaces are created and available in a timely manner (thumbnails, PDP page content, At page content, etc.).
  • Assistant Brand Manager will collaborate on planning and development of brand assets and other marketing collateral for digital marketing campaigns, events, social media and more. Ensure that all content and collateral follow brand standards. Aid in creating launch and training materials for new products.
  • Work closely with the Social and Influencer teams to engage with fans, ideate and create content for platforms like Instagram and Tik Tok.

What You Bring to the Table


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, English, marketing, media communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Understanding of the full marketing mix, including experience with planning, management, execution, and measurement of all forms of digital media: search, social, display, video, mobile, and email.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Background in direct to consumer CPG products and/or healthcare and the supplement industry a plus. 
  • Work regular, full-time, on-site schedule, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to work additional hours depending on business demands.
