Position Overview:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health and decision-making processes of the organization. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around financial forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and reporting, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the business. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to provide insightful financial insights and recommendations. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies while staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for forecasting, trending, and results analysis
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain financial performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of business operations
- Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
- Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis and establish financial policies
- Analyze payroll and compare to budget and forecast
- Identify and recommend strategies to improve financial performance and reduce costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior financial analysts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
- NetSuite and NSPB, Salesforce, Hyperion as plus
- Excellent analytical skills
- Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
- Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
- Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
