 In this highly visible role, you will provide administrative support to the Relationship Managers.  Responsible for gathering and compiling data, collecting loan files for internal staff, scanning, and copying materials, maintaining files, issuing correspondence, and promoting business for the Bank by maintaining excellent customer relations.A typical day might include the following:

  • Perform professional administrative support in greeting customers, answering telephones, taking messages, and providing information related to loan status, payoff, balances, etc.
  • Accurately and efficiently support the lending function by preparing loan worksheets and ordering required documentation, such as personal credit reports, business credit reports, environmental reports, etc. 
  • Assemble loan proposal packets for lending officer’s submission to loan committee.  Assist with Credit Quest opportunity memos including input and review.
  • Scan/upload various documents to Director and credit quest.
  • Assist 3-5 Relationship Managers with various tasks.
  • Understand requirements of commercial and ag loans and necessary documentation.
  • Assistance with commercial and ag process from Application to Close, including working with other segments.
  • Ongoing assistance with commercial and agricultural portfolio (loan payments, transactions, and general client questions).
  • Effectively navigate core Heartland Bank systems including but not limited to Navigator, Director, Credit Quest, etc.
  • Assist and participate in community and business development activities as needed. 
  • Assist in the preparation of reports as directed by the Supervisor
  • Coordinate proper portfolio management activities of the assigned portfolio which shall include required reviews, maintain customer credit data, obtaining updated customer information, collection activities and other such activities as assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • High school diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of two years in credit or lending environment

  • Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Internet Explorer, Excel 
  • Familiarity with County Auditor’s sites and Ohio Secretary of State website (UCC filing search)
