Starlab Space LLC is a US-led transatlantic joint venture between Voyager Space, Airbus, and Mitsubishi Corporation that is designing, building, and will operate the Starlab commercial space station. Starlab will serve a global customer base of space agencies, researchers, and companies, ensuring a continued human presence in low-Earth orbit and a seamless transition of microgravity science and research from the International Space Station into the new commercial space station era.
Position Description:
This internship will support the CFO for approximately 4-5 months in the areas of finance/accounting, human resources, and information technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support on the business plan
- Provide support on invoicing, treasury tracking, creating processes
- Support administrative and daily operations
- Aid team in smaller projects
- Assist and support events and conferences,
- Support CFO on different tasks, e.g. minutes, meeting protocols, presentations, while participating and supporting in meetings
- Assist in HR administration when required, support on communication
- Support other ad hoc work on M&A, technical, & financial topics
Requirements:
- Sophomore/2nd year in a Bachelor’s program up to first year in a Master’s degree program
- Strong interest in Finance and Project Management
- Ability to work in a team
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to work 50% onsite
Preferences
:
- Knowledge of project management tools
- Previous experience in a startup
- International Experience
- Ability to speak fluent German or French
