Materials Associate
Position Description:
Responsible for accurate and timely picking and kitting of customer order materials
Major Responsibilities Include:
- Picking and kitting electronic components for manufacturing floor.
- Ensure correct manufacturer of various components are kitted for specific customer’s kits.
- Ensure correct count of components being kitted using small part scale/reel counter.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventories of our raw materials.
- Perform work in accordance with all ISO, Safety Regulations, and Policies
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties as required in the Production department.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills are required.
Experience/Technical/General Skills Requirements:
- Prior experience in Electronics Manufacturing preferred but not required.
- Should be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
- Must be flexible and a team player.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Willingness to be trained.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
