Revenue Accountant

Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue according to accounting standards and company policies. Review sales contracts and agreements to assess revenue recognition implications and provide guidance to stakeholders.2.

Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of revenue streams, pricing structures, and sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Generate regular reports and present findings to management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial insights.3. Revenue Reporting: Prepare and maintain revenue-related financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of revenue data by reconciling accounts, investigating discrepancies, and resolving issues in a timely manner.4.

Billing and Invoicing: Oversee daily/monthly/quarterly Billing utilizing the NetSuite 360 Billing application. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customers. Review billing processes and systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy, reducing billing errors and delays.5. Special/Manual Billing: Manage custom/unique customer billing arrangements requested by PV customer base. Directly contact customers to discuss unique invoicing needs.6. Compliance and Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing relevant revenue-related documentation, explanations, and analysis. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards related to revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with applicable rules.7. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the revenue accounting function. Streamline processes, develop, and implement best practices, and leverage automation tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.8. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, operations, legal, and finance teams to understand business operations, sales strategies, and contractual terms. Provide guidance and support in revenue-related matters, ensuring alignment between financial goals and operational activities.9.

Financial Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls related to revenue recognition and reporting. Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and accounting standards, and implement corrective measures as necessary.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and revenue recognition standards.Experience in revenue accounting or a related financial role.Proficient in financial analysis, data interpretation, and reporting using spreadsheets and financial software.Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information effectively.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.Familiarity with the ERP system, NetSuite and Salesforce is desirable.Supervisory Responsibility
