Quality Control Inspector

How You Will Make an Impact

• Quality Control Inspector will inspect and double-check pallet product appearance and general status of the cargo at the time of receiving.
• Quality Control Inspector will perform inspections following the appropriate sampling plan. 
• Verify the product for compliance with established requirements.
• Quality Control Inspector will report any issues during the receiving process.
• Take pictures and fill up documents associated with the receiving. 
• Quality Control Inspector will file and organize documents. Assist in preparing relevant documents to file and as electronic records. 
• Keep electronic data updated (retained samples, receiving and traceability logbooks). 
• Help investigate complaints and inquiries so replies may be generated.

What You Bring to the Table

• High school diploma or equivalent diploma required.
• Minimum 6 months experience working in a packaging plant 
• Knowledge in quality documentation management within a regulated industry.
• The ability to pass a cGMP certification course is required. 
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, conversational Spanish with the ability to read and write basic English are required.
• Knowledge of current regulatory documents and guidelines related to Dietary Supplements and knowledge of CFR21 Part 111. 
• Knowledge of sanitary practices, cleaning procedures, and cleaning agents used in food/ dietary supplement GMP environments.   
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while meeting goals.
