Heartland has an immediate opening for a full-time Client Service Representative located at multiple locations in Columbus, Ohio.
In this role, the CSR will enhance client relationships and develop prospective client relationships through effective needs identification using product and industry knowledge. Service customers and identify opportunities through opening accounts and accurately processing transactions, while maintaining and balancing a cash supply.A typical day might include the following:
- Foster customer relationships through strategic sales initiatives, leveraging both industry expertise and a comprehensive understanding of Heartland Bank's product portfolio.
- Execute job functions with thorough attention to detail, ensuring both accuracy and high quality in tasks such as processing customer transactions, handling batch work, overseeing account openings and closures, conducting maintenance activities, and proficiently utilizing the cash recycler technology, all while adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate precision in managing and maintaining the assigned cash supply throughout the workday.
- Uphold a commitment to balancing the vault's cash supply flawlessly, while also orchestrating the seamless coordination of cash shipments and deliveries.
- Adhere to the CSR sales performance and distinction standards, embodying a committed dedication to excellence.
- Extend prompt and courteous greetings to customers in both face-to-face and telephonic interactions, adeptly distinguish their immediate requirements, and navigate branch workflow procedures with a thorough understanding to provide the utmost level of customer service.
- Complete routine onboarding requirements for new accounts, ensuring a seamless and thorough process.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the team to attain established benchmarks in production, sales, cross-selling, and operational achievements.
- Deliver meticulously prepared daily, weekly, and monthly reports of the highest quality, showcasing accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strategically identify and refer potential business opportunities to diverse stakeholders within the institution, covering a wide range of services including investments, mortgage lending, commercial lending, and cash management.
- Actively participate in meetings and training sessions, consistently enhancing skill sets and skillfully conveying pertinent information to fellow branch staff.
- Adhere diligently to established security protocols, safeguarding customer information with the highest level of care at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of customer service, retail and/or cash handling preferred.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Internet Explorer, ResourceOne, Premier Integrated Teller, Business Process Manager
