JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Provide wheelchair services, concentrating the efforts at the gate area, ensuring that all security procedures are met. Exhibiting exceptional customer service and communication skills. Ensure the safety of property and people. Provide porter services.
Essential Functions

Provide wheelchair services ensuring that all security procedures are met.The agent will be managing the pre-boards and arrivals at all gates assigned. Arrival passengers, will be place at the gate area to be transfer to the agent assign to complete the service.Provide wheelchair services in other areas if it is needed.Use the tablet to manage wheelchair assignments.Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities to the supervisor.Maintain the wheelchairs in good condition and report the ones that need to be fixed.Collect wheelchairs from terminals and parking lots.Present yourself in a professional way.Other Duties

Work Environment -
This job operates in an airport setting (inside the terminal).
Physical Demands
This position is very active and requires standing or walk constantly (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet). Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck, pulling, pushing and lift to perform various duties. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves more than 70 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work varied from Monday through Sunday, with different shifts (service provided to customers is 24/7).
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED.Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must exhibit exceptional customer serviceAs a condition of employment, employees must successfully complete a background investigation and drug test.Must be able to read, write and speak English.Maintain a relationship with both employees and clientsMust possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public professionally and effectively.Must be able to read and understand all operating and airport procedures and instructions.Must be able to handle pressure of working with high volume general public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment)Security Clearance (if applicable)
Must be eligible for CBP seal and pass the criminal background check to obtain the airport ID.
