Position Summary
The Senior HR Generalist plays a vital role in managing various aspects of human resources operations, contributing to the growth and success of our organization. You will work closely with management and employees to provide comprehensive HR support and guidance while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the selection of top-quality candidates that align with the company's values and objectives.
- Provide expert advice and assistance to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that foster employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
- Conduct regular reviews of HR policies and procedures, recommending updates and improvements to ensure alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, and serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits. Drive the training and development initiatives, identifying skill gaps and coordinating training programs to enhance the capabilities of the workforce.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and legal changes, ensuring the organization's compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Drive the training and development initiatives, identifying skill gaps and coordinating training programs to enhance the capabilities of the workforce.
- Lead or assist in special projects and HR-related initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Key Work Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field or General Service Administration (GSA) equivalent years of experience; Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in HR roles, with a proven track record in progressively responsible positions.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
