Position Overview:  


The Driver role exists within the Warehouse and Logistics Department, and is primarily centered on the management of client properties within the warehouse, along with local pickups and deliveries.  

Responsibilities:


  • Accurately and efficiently pull, prepare, and load client shipments
  • Work with receiving coordinator to put away all inbound shipments within 48 hours
  • Document movement of inventory within the warehouse via transfer sheets
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and abide by best practices for warehouse safety
  • Communicate with management the timing challenges when presented with deadlines
  • Participate in annual physical inventory counts
  • Drive 26’ straight truck for local deliveries and pickups
  • Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle, and maintain fuel levels
  • Professionally communicate with clients and/or vendors during pickups and deliveries
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications: 


  • The ability to operate straight truck for local deliveries
  • DOT physical required, CDL not required
  • Clean driving record required
  • The ability to operate multiple types of forklifts and warehouse equipment
  • The ability to stay on task and oversee multiple jobs at once in an organized and efficient manner
  • Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying, stopping, bending, kneeling and reaching
  • Basic computer operation and navigation, including ability to process UPS and FedEx orders
  • Work safely, accurately and quickly using material and resources effectively
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the successful completion of all projects to a high standard
  • Ability to function as a team player and be a problem solver
  • Ability to arrive at work with reliable transportation
  • 2 years warehouse/driver experience preferred

Preferred Skills:


  • Ability to operate forklift and 26’ straight truck
  • Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
  • Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment  
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
