Positions Responsibilities
Conformal Coat Assembler will be applying conformal coat to printed circuit boards.
- Develop a working knowledge of the names and appearance of the different types of conformal coat.
- Develop a working knowledge of electronic acceptance criteria, e.g. ANSI/IPC 610.
- Perform conformal coat application per applicable workmanship specifications, drawings, samples, or verbal instructions.
- Accurately document required information on Travelers and other required reporting forms.
- Interpret standard procedures, written assembly instructions, assembly drawings and engineering documentation.
- Develop a working knowledge of the proper use of pneumatic and manual syringes, sprays, etc. as they are needed to apply conformal coat to printed circuit boards.
Positions Qualifications
- Prior conformal coating experience is desired
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, distinguish colors and perform simple arithmetic
- Ability to use fingers or tools to perform one or more repetitive assembly operations
- Work at a steady pace under close supervision
- Demonstrated desire to learn, dependable, and able to work in a team environment
