JOB SUMMARY:
To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member. The Children/Youth Services Drug & Alcohol Therapist will be responsible for the delivery of clinical services, to adolescents and their families who are either at risk for or actively engaging in substance use/abuse. QUALIFCATIONS:
- Master’s degree in human services field from an accredited college or university
- One year post-Master's experience working with youth/families and drug & alcohol experience required.
- Knowledge of substance use issues and treatment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- LCSW, LMFT, LPC preferred. License eligible within 6 months of employment.
- COVID-19 vaccination, or willingness to receive vaccine required
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Provide individual, family, couple and group therapy for adolescents and their families utilizing approved treatment modalities and interventionsCollaborate closely with all systems involved with each assigned youth and document all case management activityBe aware of clients’ financial liabilities, coordinate any financial changes with PATH’s Billing Department, and assist clients in securing third party resources when indicatedComplete all required documentation including treatment plans, assessments, annual reviews, progress notes and discharge summaries in a timely, comprehensive and legible manner and in accordance with PATH policies and proceduresContribute to any quality improvement/outcome measurement tracking, development and data gathering as assignedCollect all pertinent information and provide comprehensive assessments in accordance with PATH policies and proceduresBe flexible in scheduling appointments to meet youth/family needsMeet productivity standards for your position, which includes direct and indirect standards.Provide community based services and/or service delivery as assignedPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
