Position Overview:
The Data Scientist & Integrator will play a key role in supporting the development of complex technology projects by integrating various data sources and visualization tools to support data mapping and analysis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, data visualization, and machine learning, as well as a strong understanding of development processes and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
· Support the development of complex technology projects by integrating various data sources and visualization tools.· Assess existing tools for integration and make recommendations for improvements.· Utilize strong data analyst skills to collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources.· Develop and implement data visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights and findings.· Apply machine learning and generative AI techniques to analyze and interpret data.· Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and provide data-driven insights.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.· Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in data science and integration· Supports development of complex technology projects using a variety of frameworks· Integrating various data sources and visualization tools to support data mapping and analysis.· Strong data analyst skills include data collection, data cleaning, data visualization, machine learning, generative AI.· Understanding of development process and experience working with development teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Preferred a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.· 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Integrator, or a similar role· Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in data integration tools and technologies is essential. This includes expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data warehousing, API integration, and cloud-based integration platforms.· Data Analysis and Modeling: Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques is required.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and statistical analysis tools like RStudio or Jupyter Notebook is highly beneficial.· System Integration: Knowledge of system integration principles, protocols, and standards is necessary. This includes experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, and other integration technologies.· Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working effectively with cross-functional teams. Data Scientists & Integrators must be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.· Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking are crucial for identifying and resolving integration challenges.
