Job Title: Senior Marketing Operations Analyst


Location: Atlanta or Remote

You’ll be involved in the crucial decision-making we need to scale a high-growth Marketing team.On a day-to-day basis, you will be focused on deriving actionable insights that inform our marketing strategy.

Specifically, you will:

  • Work hand-in-hand with Marketing leadership to understand our customers, their digital journey, and identify areas of growth and optimization.
  • Create tools, frameworks, and deep insights that inform marketing strategies, and track performance of marketing campaigns against expectations
  • Measure marketing channel performance, customer journey mapping, attribution, and overall marketing impact on key business metrics
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to help inform campaign targets, evaluate investment efficiency, provide input on targeting and audience strategies, as well as drive improvements in internal analytics tools
  • Develop and manage our pipeline models and reporting, as well as support our go-to-market leadership pipeline calls 
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in reporting visualization tools
  • Present recommendations and insights to Go-To-Market leadership for strategic decision making, operational change and investment
  • Establish strong working relationships with peers in other revenue operations teams and cross-functional partners (marketing leadership, sales leadership, business intelligence, systems teams) to achieve objectives
  • Operate in a proactive and flexible manner, with the ability to lead multiple projects at once and stay attuned to the priorities of the marketing organization

The Team:


The Marketing Operations team lives within the Revenue Operations organization and supports the Marketing organization. We are in the unique position to regularly work with senior leaders such as the Sr. VP of Rev Ops, CMO, and CRO which gives us a great perspective on the business.The team consists of operations, business and data analysts with a drive to enable Salesloft to make better decisions. Our team shares a few common traits: they are accountable, unafraid to experiment, and continuously learning.

  • 4+ years of experience in leading projects with proven impact 
  • B2B Marketing experience preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce, Marketo, or other Marketing tech platforms is a plus
  • Looker/Tableau (data visualization) experience required
  • Attribution Modeling experience required
  • Able to write / develop SQL within data warehouse 
  • Proficient building working models based on complex data sets
  • Track record of using data to transform business processes
  • Excellent intrapersonal skills; ability to work well with and communicate with senior leaders (A balance of analytical skills as well as strong organization and communication skills is key)
  • Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects impacting go-to-market teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex ideas and analytics so they are understandable to leadership
  • Must be a self-starter, creative, high energy, and comfortable running an initiative in a fast paced software company

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:


  • Form relationships with Marketing leadership and key members of the go-to-market team
  • Meet with key stakeholders in finance, marketing, and product to understand their part of Salesloft’s whole and what metrics define their success 
  • Evaluate existing reports, models, dashboards, and documentation currently used to measure Marketing team performance
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Begin 1:1s with your manager understand your 30-60-90 plan; shadow current members of the Marketing & Revenue Operations team

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:


  • Collaborate with the senior marketing leadership to prioritize change management and reporting needs 
  • Make recommendations on reporting infrastructure, data modeling, and visualizations
  • Understand, document, and analyze existing workflows and processes

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:


  • Act as go-to partner and consultant for marketing
  • Consistently recommend updates, optimizations, and changes to marketing campaigns and strategy
  • Own pipeline model, measurement and be a key part of the go-to-market pipeline calls to drive growth
  • Work across the Marketing Operations team to execute change management
