As a key part of our rapidly growing organization, we are looking for Corporate Counsel to help with legal matters and contracts. Specifically, we are seeking a results-oriented, motivated and strategic attorney who is dedicated towards finding solutions which align and support the rapid growth of the company.To that end, the Corporate Counsel will be tasked with the following:
- Review, draft, provide guidance on, and negotiate commercial contracts of all types, including large scale enterprise SaaS agreements.
- Partner with internal business clients to develop and execute action plans in order to resolve the issues presented in contract negotiations, as necessary.
- Support a variety of legal projects, including those relating to privacy, security, employment and compliance, as requested, particularly as they relate to Salesloft’s operations in EMEA.
- Coordinate with subject matter legal experts and outside attorneys to ensure efficient delivery of legal services in EMEA
- Develop strong relationships with internal contacts, including, but not limited to: Security, Risk Management, Finance, People Operations, Sales, Technology, and other appropriate departments to ensure high service level and anticipate special needs.

THE TEAM:
Salesloft’s Legal team is comprised of seasoned and up-and-coming attorneys and contracts professionals who are all aligned on supporting the Company’s one vision and mission:

THE SKILL SET:
- Qualified to practice in England and Wales.
- 4+ years PQE with relevant experience drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts and a proven understanding with respect to commercial contracting, in each case particularly in the context of SaaS transactions.
- Experience as part of an in-house legal department for a fast paced, high growth software/SaaS company strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and other European and global security and privacy laws, and data security and privacy best practices.
- Strong knowledge of UK commercial and contractual law
- Experience with UK and/or Polish employment laws and regulations is a plus, but is not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Documented history of ability to balance the needs of multiple initiatives and competing demands.
- Collaborative work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented/open environment.
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
- Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique.
- Learn and understand the Salesloft legal team’s position on various topics relevant to contracts and business operations.
- Negotiate and draft procurement contracts for goods, events, software / SaaS, and services.
- Begin 1:1’s with your manager, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team, and familiarize yourself with the legal teams processes and systems.
- Meet key partners in Revenue, Information Security, Finance and Corporate Services, Technology, Product, Marketing, etc., as they will be key relationships for you throughout your career here at Salesloft.
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Work directly with the Revenue team to negotiate and draft sales-side Master Subscription Agreements, Data Processing Addendums, Statements of Work, and Order Forms.
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Start to undertake other Salesloft legal team initiatives, such as process improvement or internal policy implementation, particularly with respect to Salesloft’s operations in EMEA, in addition to managing contracts.
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Be considered a subject matter expert in what it takes to get both sales and procurement transactions done at Salesloft.
- Exercise your legal and professional judgment to help expand and scale the legal function at Salesloft.
