About The Role:
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Spot, you'll be at the forefront of our billing and collection efforts. Your attention to detail and dedication will ensure the timely submission and processing of customer invoices, maintaining the integrity of one of our most valuable assets.Our Accounts Receivable team meticulously handles thousands of invoices, ensuring the smooth flow of operations and the financial health of our organization. As an integral part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in this high-volume process, contributing to our success and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently review and submit invoices utilizing a range of Transportation Management Systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee the invoicing process for customers not using a Transportation Management System.
- Proactively pursue outstanding invoices on assigned accounts.
- Assist with the distribution of customer statements.
- Set up and maintain customer billing profiles.
- Monitor and address customer inquiries via a dedicated billing email address.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent experience in accounting will also be considered.
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a high-volume work environment.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle A/R inquiries courteously and efficiently.
- Proficiency in multitasking and managing competing priorities.
- Basic knowledge of Excel functions.
