You will be a key member of our high-performing content marketing team, which is focused on creating and disseminating compelling content across a variety of channels to help drive awareness and consideration of Salesloft and our solutions.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Content and Communications, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams like brand, demand generation, communications and product marketing to develop copy/content and content repurposing plans for marketing campaigns, social media, and major marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, create brand affinity, generate leads, and drive conversions. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:


We are seeking a bias-towards-action, results-oriented, motivated content marketing specialist to create content, repurpose it, and distribute it across a variety of channels. You are excited to take advantage of the latest advancements in AI tools to speed the content creation process. One day you may be writing a smart headline and clever copy for an ad campaign. The next day you could be scripting a video, writing a blog post, or updating copy on our website. Your resume and portfolio should demonstrate your copywriting versatility and results, and you should be able to articulate your specific role for projects featured in your portfolio.

You look at tasks like posting content on the website, coordinating project details, and hitting your deadlines as just part of the job. On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Assist in the creation, content repurposing, and distribution of engaging content across various platforms to educate prospects and customers about Salesloft and our solutions
  • Contribute to the content calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality materials.
  • Support demand generation campaigns with short form copy for advertising, web, and social media, as well as longer form content like blog posts.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and communications teams to align content with overall brand messaging and objectives.
  • Perform content entry into the website CMS.
  • Write internal communications for revenue team newsletter, company newsletter, and departmental updates about newly produced content
  • Assist in the analysis of content performance and support optimization strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Assist in developing content for web experiences and community engagement.
  • Support the production and coordination of content for virtual events aimed at prospect and customer education and enablement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and content requirements.

THE SKILL SET:


  • 1-2 years of experience in content marketing or a related field.
  • Solid writing and editing skills, with a knack for crafting compelling short form copy for digital experiences as well as longer form content like blog posts.
  • Understanding of content marketing strategies and effective communication within a team environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Experience in tech/SaaS preferred
  • Basic awareness of content management systems, SEO principles, and analytics tools is a plus

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique. 
  • Join our Sales Bootcamp, where you will learn about our software, allowing you to make an impact quickly.
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them.
  • Meet key partners in product marketing, sales, customer success and the other departments.
  • Learn  the skills necessary to set you up for success
  • Develop firm grasp on our user personas, use cases, tone and voice, and brand standards

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Understand the competitive landscape
  • Develop a variety of compelling written materials: social copy, ad copy, blog posts, case studies, and web copy
  • Proactively managing your content projects and reach out to internal partners and stakeholders to keep content projects running smoothly
  • Post your content to our website via our CMS
  • Work with our SEO team to ensure content is  optimized for performance

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:


  • Understand the performance of your copy content and recommend data-driven actions and adjust as needed
  • Be considered a top-performing member of the content and communications team
  • Set an example for new marketers and assist in training, onboarding and motivating new Lofters
