Intralogistics Account Manager
The Intralogistics Account Manager drives their own market activities and finds accounts as well as single projects for all our solutions; both racking and automated. The Account Manager is expected to hunt and build relationships with customers and individuals. Together with the support of a project manager this person is responsible for designing and selling racking projects. This includes customer appointments to clarify the task, presentation of project drafts and quotes. Along with this, they are also responsible for all phases from the initial development to signing the contract.
Together with their solutions expert they are responsible for selling automated projects.
Operational tasks
- Hunting for customers and opportunities
- Building and managing strong relationships
- Strong collaboration with Project Managers for racking projects
- Strong collaboration with Solutions Expert for automated projects
- Analysis of customers sites and ability to detect potential for new solutions and projects
- Conceptual design of racking projects
- Collaborating alongside internal Project Management teams to create sales proposals and quotes as well as commercial content
- Clear communication skills while presenting solutions to the customer
- Involved in contract management
- Conducting final negotiations with customers
- Managing steady handover to the implementation department
- Ability to support the implementation department during the duration of the project
- Potential participation in trade fairs and events
- Support in the continuous improvement of sales processes and tools
Professional Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a comparable job or at least 3 years of direct industry experience
- Knowledgeable in the field of intralogistics / material handling industry
- Knowledgeable of general processes and a strong solutions based mindset
- Strong project planning skills to land deals of complete, turnkey and automatic logistics systems
- MS Office / MS Project
- Salesforce experience is a plus
