Our office is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. This role reports to our Corporate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a legal office or professional work environment and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. As the Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. You will help maintain legal documents in our software program as well as assist the Corporate Attorney.Responsibilities:- Utilize legal software to assist with document organization and management- Assist with drafting l documents- Perform receptionist duties such as answering phone calls, greeting clients, and scheduling appointments- Manage and maintain legal files and documents- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, ordering supplies, scheduling meetings and photocopyingRequirements Requirements:- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant in a legal office- Strong understanding of legal office systems and software- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred- 2+ years of experience working in a professional office environment or legal office environment- Proficiency in legal software such as Clio, MyCase, or PracticePanther- Attention to detail and accuracyIf you are a motivated and organized individual with experience in legal office systems and receptionist responsibilities, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
