The Position
DeveloperTown is seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Power BI Developer, you'll leverage your expertise in SQL, Power Query, and DAX to craft robust data models and visually compelling presentations. From requirements gathering to stakeholder management, you'll ensure project success.
You’ll be able to:
- Design and develop data-driven applications and solutions using Power BI, SQL, Power Query, and DAX.
- Utilize Power BI service and Power BI desktop features for report design, data visualization, and data refresh.
- Employ DAX Studio and Power Query for advanced data analysis and manipulation.
- Conduct thorough data validation to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Provide technical leadership and adhere to Power BI best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements with business objectives.
- Manage competing priorities effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Power BI or related tools.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power Query, and DAX.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Nice to haves:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, in addition to Power BI.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence best practices and standards
- Experience in healthcare or financial services industries.
- Relevant certifications in Power Platform and/or Power BI.
*This is a hybrid role, requiring both onsite work at the DeveloperTown office and remote collaboration. *Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
