Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Director of Programmatic Ads Sales to join our team. As the Director of Programmatic Ads Sales, you will play a pivotal role in managing a book of business to drive revenue for our programmatic division. Your excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and attention to detail will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our programmatic podcast campaigns. This is a remote position, but ideally, the candidate would be able to easily travel to the New York area.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ad Sales: Spearhead the sale of programmatic advertising space across our podcast network, employing data-driven strategies to target ideal demographics for each client. Develop tailored pitches that highlight the unique advantages of podcast advertising within our network, focusing on ROI and audience engagement metrics to secure buy-in from new and existing clients.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of clients, from independent podcast creators to major brands looking to expand their reach. Act as a primary point of contact for advertising clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded. Use feedback to refine advertising solutions and enhance client satisfaction.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of advertising campaigns, from initial strategy planning and execution to analysis and reporting. Collaborate with operations teams to monitor campaign performance, making real-time adjustments to optimize outcomes. Ensure that all campaigns adhere to budget and timeline constraints, and deliver measurable results against client objectives.
- Thought Leader: Establish yourself as an expert in podcast programmatic advertising by contributing to industry publications, speaking at conferences, and participating in panels. Share insights on emerging trends, technological advancements, and best practices to enhance the stature of Libsyn Ads in the market and to guide internal strategy development.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Google Office Suite or related software.
Required Education and Experience:
- 4-7 years of experience in programmatic sales
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the podcasting, digital advertising, or media industry.
- Strong understanding of programmatic advertising and the podcasting ecosystem.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with podcasters and internal teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Proficiency in using project management tools, CRM systems, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
