We are seeking a Tableau Report Developer to lead our FP&A Analytics team in creating and maintaining advanced Tableau reports and dashboards. Reporting to the FP&A Analytics manager, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience manipulating large data sets, expertise in developing front-end reporting solutions, and deep knowledge of Tableau Desktop. They will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making in financial planning and analysis.Responsibilities/Duties:
- Lead the design and development of advanced Tableau reports and dashboards for FP&A requirements.
- Manipulate complex data sets using statistical software or other methods.
- Develop and implement front-end reporting solutions to visualize financial data effectively.
- Collaborate closely with FP&A stakeholders to gather advanced report specifications and ensure data accuracy.
- Optimize Tableau visualizations for usability, performance, and aesthetics at an advanced level.
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance testing on Tableau reports to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior Tableau Report Writers on best practices and report development techniques.
- Stay abreast of Tableau features, enhancements, and industry trends relevant to FP&A Analytics, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
- Advanced understanding of financial concepts and data analysis.
- Extensive proficiency in Tableau Desktop for advanced report development and visualization.
- Proven experience manipulating large and complex data sets through statistical software or other methods.
- Expertise in developing front-end reporting solutions at a senior level.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to lead projects, manage teams, and drive results independently.
- Tableau Desktop certification.
Preferred Qualifications: (optional, if applicable)
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.
- Tableau Desktop certification at an advanced level.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with other BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, SSMS, or QlikView.
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex Tableau projects.
