Job Description
In this role, you will work with an agile team to deliver data & analytic solutions, delivering human-centered experiences that benefit end users. As a Product Owner (PO), you drive product discovery, design, and delivery. You work closely with our clients to understand their goals. You develop a product vision and work with our design team to craft a solution. You build the product backlog and guide the team throughout development, demonstrating progress at the end of each sprint. You work with the UX/UI designer to craft solutions to the problems being solved.
You author Epics and User Stories to build and manage the product backlog, guiding the team throughout the delivery of the roadmap. You directly impact the lives of those on your team, our client and, most definitely, end users.You will be the primary point of contact for Moser with our clients. It is expected that this role will be client facing and will require strong interpersonal and communication skills. This role will be focused on building the relationship with the client to become a Trusted Advisor as well as providing strategic thought leadership with regard to improving their business operations.

Role Responsibilities
- Build the client relationship to become a Trusted Advisor.
- Apply Human Centered Design (HCD) and UX best-practices to the development and delivery of Analytics products.
- Take a user-centered / Design Thinking approach to development, and rapidly test and iterate designs from low-fidelity to high.
- Lead/participate in brainstorming sessions and discovery sessions to develop innovative data and analytic solutions.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and with end users to understand their goals.
- Display excellent collaboration, have strong strategic and communication skills.
- Facilitate internal process to align with 6Ds & design thinking.
- Contribute to a work climate that facilitates a collaborative team environment.
- Embody servant leadership and a growth mindset.
- Act as the primary escalation point with Director & Vice President for any challenges with the client relationship or delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner, or comparable leadership experience.
- Intermediate level experience with product discovery.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Experience in one or more visual reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, or similar tool.
- Strong understanding of BI/data & analytic fundamentals and solutions
Preferred Skills
- Intermediate level understanding of SDLCs other than Agile.
- Intermediate level understanding of test methodologies
Where You'll Work
Moser has two offices in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Baltimore, MD. You will have the choice to work from one of our office locations, flex your time, and may have the option to work from home depending upon the client’s needs (in the U.S.). This is considered a hybrid, onsite position. It will not be 100% remote, full-time.
