Job Summary:
The Publisher Operations Lead is tasked with a variety of responsibilities within the publisher department. You will oversee the onboarding of new shows onto our platform, which includes collaborating directly with publishers and their teams to gather necessary information for listings, educating them on platform usage, and working with them and the sales team to determine the optimal ad units and market capabilities.
Beyond onboarding, your role will involve auditing the reach (downloads) of existing exclusive shows, particularly those that are underperforming, and providing general technical support for any ad portal-related queries from publishers.
This position requires both managing team members to ensure tasks are completed and personally handling specific duties.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Onboard new shows in a timely manner onto the platform. This includes creating listings, educating the publisher on how to use the platform, setting up payout information, setting up their availability calendar, verifying their download reach, and more.
- Audit existing inventory for shows that don’t meet their reach requirements
- Support the publisher relations team in maintaining up-to-date listings.
- Work with the sales team on setting up ad units that works best for that show
- Work with other publisher team members in regards to our programmatic offering - Auto Ads
- Work with other publisher team members in regards to show marketing and promo impressions
- Work with other publisher team members in regards to pixel tracking and attribution implementation for performance tracking
- Provide overall technical support for any publisher side related questions
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.
- Ability to function at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work within and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team
- A can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done in a timely manner
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Knowledge of IAB Standards
- Experience in marketing / media planning
- Familiarity with podcast hosting and ad tech platforms
Pay Range:
$60k - $65k Base + Quarterly Team Bonuses
