Job Summary


In this role, you will leverage your strengths as a conceptual thinker, coupled with exceptional organizational and conflict management skills. Additionally, your problem-solving prowess and ability to multitask and adapt seamlessly in a highly dynamic environment are critical attributes.To ensure success, HR Generalists should showcase strong decision-making skills, coupled with a deep knowledge of employee relations, staffing management, and training. Top candidates will be comfortable handling ambiguous situations.HR Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with associates to cultivate a safe, trustworthy, and supportive space.
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Organize events to engage employees, promote company culture, and support HR initiatives; Lead special HR initiatives and strategic objectives.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, and coordinate the interview process.
  • Investigate complaints brought forward by employees.
  • Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
  • Onboard new employees.
  • Participates or leads company committees (Engagement, Safety, Community).
  • Supports the Innovairre mission, vision and values throughout the organization.
  • Supports employee engagement activities, including communication through electronic boards, bulletin boards, and other means of communication.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

HR Generalist Requirements:Absolutely essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent amount of experience with a proven track record in human resources
  • 2 years of experience as an HR coordinator

Deep understanding of:

  • Labor Law
  • Employment equity regulations

Efficient management skills in:

  • HR administration
  • People management
  • HR functions
  • Best practices

Excellent communication skills in:

  • Written
  • Verbal
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines

Superb computer literacy in:

  • Email
  • MS Office
  • Related HR software

 Exceptional skills in:

  • Organization
  • Conflict management
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
