Job Title: Pricing AnalystCompany: Lonestar Equipment SolutionsLocation: Houston, TXJob Type: Full-timeEEO Category: Professionals VETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Lonestar Equipment Solutions is looking for a Pricing Analyst that will gather and analyze financial data to estimate and allocate costs, develop pricing strategies, and maintain and inspect inventory for pricing accuracy. Responsibilities:

  • Meets and collaborates with clients, leadership, and other staff to estimate the cost of products and services.
  • Reviews and analyzes existing and proposed processes, staff, and materials; identifies cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Examines and maintains product files and inventory for accuracy and opportunity.
  • Estimates costs of new equipment or capital investment necessary for projects.
  • Drafts cost estimates for projects based on data analysis and research; distributes reports to leadership, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepares reports forecasting pricing scenarios; makes recommendations based on findings.
  • Identifies the pricing structure required for products to sell at profit.
  • Reviews special pricing agreements (SPAs) as they’re in process, as well as update rebates and payments. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of purchasing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Extensive knowledge of cost accounting principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to create forecasts based on financial data.
  • Proficient with accounting software and cost software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Two years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently. 
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
