Subsidy Program Manager
The Subsidy Program Manager will oversee all aspects of the program's operations, including team management and reporting metrics. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure the continual improvement and high quality of the Upwards Subsidy Program concerning governmental standards while collaborating with various teams and maintaining external client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees internal and external constituencies on professional and organizational matters on Subsidy
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration across departments, teams, or organizations by serving as a conduit, connecting and coordinating efforts to ensure operational efficiency and effective decision-making.
- Provides direction and integrative coordination of planning and development in compliance with governmental subsidy contracts
- Designs and evaluates program operations and staffing to accomplish program goals and objectives
- Serves as the principal point of collaboration in operational matters on the current mission and work scopes within the program
- Complete monthly reports concerning each program and submit them to portals or designated points of contact
- Establishes and implements short and long-range goals for the administration of subsidies
- Oversees all facets of daily operations of programming, ensuring compliance with governing laws and regulations
- Conveys child care subsidy programming structure concerning external sources to include governmental or prospective funding agencies
- Analyze and present operational data to both your team and leadership, stakeholders, other teams to ensure understanding and facilitate problem resolution
You’ll excel at this role if you have:
- Knowledge of concepts, principles, and methods specific to program operations
- Ability to foster a cooperative workforce within a complex/ fluid organizational structure
- Experience with organizational structure and engineering operations
- Skill in creating and examining policy and procedures
- Programming planning, development and implementation, and leadership skills
- Experience directly related to child development observation and assessment tools
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution
Must haves:
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or child development. Or related degree with six units in administration and supervision of early childhood education or child development or twelve units in early childhood education or development, with two years of experience in early childhood education or child care development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting information to the government and contacting cold leads to building potential relationships.
- Previous relationship management experience, from creating, building, and growing relationships.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time and project management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, and the ability to work autonomously.
- Technology: Be tech savvy. We are a tech company that utilizes Apple, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, HubSpot, CRM, and Slack.
Bonus if you have the following:
- Knowledge/experience of business to government (B2G).
- Knowledge of the childcare industry and its challenges.
- Previous startup experience, bonus if it has been in tech.
- Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment with little supervision, someone who is a go-getter.
