ReconCraft is seeking a 

Fabricator IIIis responsible for fabrication including welding, fitting, adherence to established quality control standards and procedures. Site cleanliness, welding schedules, use of drawings. Completing tasks according to reasonable and planned resource hours. Fabricator III will be expected to be fully knowledgeable on their respective vessel specifications, build standards, ABYC requirements, and deliverable timelines.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Fabricator III should demonstrate in-depth skills in MIG and/or TIG applications, to include welding, straightening, and use of fixtures. Fabricator III must demonstrate complete knowledge of all WPS materials and AWS D1.2 standards.
  • Ability to complete assigned weldments in an accelerated amount of time while adhering to established quality control standards.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility, safely performing multiple duties display endurance and capacity for a fast pace working environment.

Work Experience:


Fabricator III typically has 5-7 years of experience in aluminum vessel programs and military and/or government clients.

Essential Job Requirements:


  • Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
  • High School Diploma (GED)
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to pass background check.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, understanding drawing symbols read flag notes and general notes.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Read travelers and standard procedures.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy while working within a fast-paced production environment.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability lift 50lbs. Standing for long period of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching are generally required.
  • Ability to work long hours, when required, to meet deadlines and other deliverables.
