What you will do:
Your main task is to be the world's best problem solver and to drive legal innovation forward. As our new Legal Counsel, your main responsibilities will be to support our sales team and help them in their sales process. This means negotiating commercial agreements, DPAs, and drafting policies and internal documents. Since we are a SaaS company and process a lot of data, much of your work will be related to the GDPR and other privacy regulations in markets where we operate. Attention to detail and confidence to work autonomously are essential as well as a basic understanding of commercial implications.
The job includes:
• Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts within a multi-jurisdictional scope which includes frequent negotiations and meetings with customers;• GDPR/Privacy, including negotiating and reviewing DPA's and other assistance agreements;• Drafting, evaluating, and developing our internal documents, policy's and processes etc, as well as our standard customer agreements. • Advising internal departments within the company (eg. customer support, Enterprise-sales, HR) with regards to applicable legal requirements;• Research into multi-national regulatory regimes and risk management; and • Stay up to date with any updates in legislation that may be relevant to our business.
Depending on your previous experience and ability to learn, you may also be able to work with other tasks.
