We seek highly motivated individuals with the dedication, integrity, and creative spirit needed to thrive in our organization.Reporting directly to the Vice President Business Operations, the Project Manager of Development Operations will act as an internal consultant for all development functions operating from Azurity’s Hyderabad development and shared services hub.

This role will be responsible for strategic and corrective-action project management to support Azurity’s expanding global organization. Core activities will center on continuous operating model improvement to help Azurity scale for sustainable growth and drive success within Enablement functions. The scope of projects may include program lifecycle management, financial governance, role clarity, operating models, reporting, resource planning, communications, team effectiveness, or strategic integrations and expansions. The ideal candidate will have experience with leading complex programs within the pharmaceutical development lifecycle, in addition to experience with CDMO/CRO/lab operations. Additional knowledge of pharma launch readiness and launch planning is preferred. A deep understanding of project plans and how to get a project off the ground through to completion is a key attribute that is needed. This is a collaborative role involving significant engagement with cross-functional stakeholders to drive program success and garner adoption of Azurity’s Management System. This role will have the exciting and unique opportunity to drive Management System excellence and adoption within our growing Hyderabad organization.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who can work in an extremely fast paced organization and pivot from one objective to the next quickly. Being able to retain knowledge of the working Enablement organization is key to the success of the role and demonstrating a level of self sufficiency with decision making is key for the candidate’s success.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Provide direct project management support to our Enablement organization which can include but is not limited to, Portfolio Management, Clinical Development Regulatory Affairs, Intellectual Property, Product Development, and Tech Operations
  • Serve as a proactive facilitator and teacher of Azurity’s Management System across all corporate areas within the Hyderabad operation. This role will be a leader in building, improving, and shepherding the Management System process across the expanding global organization
  • Establish and sustain a strategic partnership with leaders and decisions makers within the Science organization. Build rapport, effective communication, and facilitate project participation with other business partners (e.g., Corporate Applications Support, FP&A, HR)
  • Oversees complex, cross-functional initiatives including structuring and managing programs, projects, overseeing the analytics process, helping to forge consensus among key stakeholders and ensuring adequate business cases to support the work
  • Socializes, manages and makes recommendations to improve best practices, including global development and ways of working for the Enterprise Project Management Office (EMPO)
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly operating committee meetings which includes the ability to collect all necessary KPI data from across the company
  • Provide dedicated recommendations to the VP Business Operations for the direction of the Project Management and Management System execution process on a global scale

Experience:


  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Degree in the field is preferred
  • Pharmaceutical development and/or launch readiness project management experience
  • 5+ years project management experience
  • Advanced experience using Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and SmartSheet
