, of Perishable Logistics Sales & Operations to lead the charge. In this role, you’ll be the key to efficiently managing and optimizing the transportation of fresh produce, seamlessly connecting shippers (from farmers to retailers) with top carriers.
Your Mission:
- Spot and Grow Opportunities: Identify and cultivate potential clients, building strong, lasting relationships.
- Seal the Deal: Manage everything from the first handshake to contract sign-off, ensuring smooth customer experiences.
- Negotiate Like a Pro: Skillfully secure competitive rates, expanding our market footprint.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with internal teams to deliver top-tier freight brokerage solutions.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up with industry trends and pricing strategies to boost your sales performance.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Industry Savvy: 5 years in logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage, with 3+ years specifically in Produce.
- Cool Under Pressure: Experience with refrigerated and short-shelf-life products is a must.
- Field Knowledge: Familiarity with produce production and farming processes.
- Logistics Expertise: Proven experience with LTL, FTL, and 3PL carriers.
- Sales Driven: A strong track record in sales, backed by a relentless pursuit of excellence.
- Go-Getter Attitude: Self-motivated, with a solid work ethic and top-notch communication skills.
- Team Player: Capable of thriving both independently and in a collaborative environment.
- Reefer Ready: Experience in the refrigerated freight business is a big plus.
