This includes overseeing servers, firewalls, switches, and other IT equipment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintain the network infrastructure at Azurity, including servers, firewalls, and switches.
- Upgrade network components as we standardize on newer equipment.
- Ensure the backups of all server data are being performed daily.
- Rebuild network components when necessary due to network crash or failure.
- Update Cisco Meraki and SonicWall firewall configurations as needed, for internal and remote connections.
- Administrate O365 mail server, and Mimecast spam/phishing.
- Manage lab computers and specialized software.
- Manage digital telephone systems, including Avaya, and Vonage.
- Administer connections to video conferencing using Teams and Zoom.
- Set up and support remote email access and general telephone support for tablets and mobile devices.
- Provide user support for hardware and software issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of IT administration
- Relevant IT training, certifications, and/or degree (Windows, server, network, security)
- Exercised and promoted security best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Trained end users and technicians
- Managed users and computers with Microsoft tools
- Experience keeping up with service requests through a ticketing system
- Conference room setup experience
- Administrator for digital phone systems, mail, software deployment, and endpoint security
- Remotely supported users
- Supported VIP users
- Able to work independently, and also to support other technicians when needed
- Able to drive between three sites in and near Woburn, MA, as needed
- Intune experience is a plus
