Primary Purpose and Function:
The Sr. FP&A Analyst will be responsible for leading and managing the planning and forecasting process for the company. This includes developing and maintaining financial models, analyzing data, and providing insights and recommendations to management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and data management.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling/Business Analysis:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for business analysis
- Monitor and manage both expenses and revenues on an ongoing basis
- Undertake ad hoc business analysis
- Lead and participate in special projects
- Partnering with Leadership Team:
- Prepare for client and investor meetings (e.g. Board of Directors (BoD) meetings)
- Facilitate responses to BoD inquiries with accurate and timely information
- Provide high-level analysis and support on an as-needed basis
- KPI, Business Intelligence and Benchmarking:
- Establish and track KPI and best-in-class SaaS industry benchmarking
- Facilitate a cross functional Monthly Business Review (MBR)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or data management
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
