Position Summary:


Pareto is seeking a motivated and engaging Sales Training Manager to join our Learning and Development team. In this unique role, you'll have the privilege of shaping the growth and excellence of our entire Sales team at all stages of their Pareto career journey. Reporting directly to the Head of Learning & Development, you'll collaborate closely with L&D, our SVP of Consultant Development, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive sales education and sales leadership training. Your mission will be to enhance our sales effectiveness through a meticulously crafted learning journey, ensuring every team member achieves their full potential.

Competencies:



  • Sales Methodology Expertise: Mastery in various sales methodologies and processes is essential. This competency involves the ability to not only understand and apply advanced sales strategies but also to adapt these methodologies to suit unique training needs in support of Pareto's Sales team.

  • Curriculum Development and Instructional Design: The ability to design and implement effective training programs is key. This competency requires a deep understanding of learning theories, instructional design models, and the latest educational technologies. The Sales Training Manager will create engaging, impactful learning experiences that cater to various learning styles and stages of career development.

  • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Effective collaboration with key stakeholders is critical for aligning training initiatives with business goals. This competency involves excellent communication skills, the ability to manage expectations, and the capacity to work closely with the SVP of Consultant Development, Sales leaders, and other stakeholders. The Sales Training Manager will ensure that training programs are relevant, timely, and supportive of Pareto's strategic objectives.

  • Performance Analysis and Improvement: A focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement is vital. This competency includes the ability to analyze training effectiveness, assess sales performance data, and implement strategies for improvement. You can expect to collaborate with our Revenue Operations team. You’ll need to set proper KPIs on progress of learning development, reporting back to sales leadership on results, and develop itemized training programs to bridge gap of learning needs of the participants The Sales Training Manager will use metrics and feedback to refine training programs, ensuring they effectively reduce time to productivity for new hires and enhance the skills of experienced team members.                                                                                                                                                                                               

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and Implement Sales Training Programs: Craft comprehensive training curricula for all sales levels, aligning with business objectives.
  • Contribute to Sales Onboarding Process: Enhance onboarding to accelerate new hire productivity with essential tools, knowledge, and skills.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership: Partner with Sales leaders to align training with Sales strategies and goals.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Assess training impact on sales performance and adjust for improvement.
  • Facilitate Leadership and Management Training: Deliver sessions on Sales management and leadership to equip effective team leaders.
  • Stay Abreast of Sales Trends and Best Practices: Incorporate the latest sales techniques and technologies into training programs.
  • Promote a Culture of Continuous Learning: Encourage ongoing growth among the Sales team through advanced training and coaching.
  • Customize Training for Diverse Sales Roles: Tailor training materials for specific sales roles, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate Hands-on Sales Workshops and Seminars: Conduct interactive workshops and seminars to reinforce learning and practical application.
  • Build and Maintain a Sales Knowledge Base: Create and update a repository of sales resources, best practices, and case studies for ongoing reference.
  • Leveraging learning tools such as Absorb, Gong, and other recommended solutions, to aid in the progression of new hires.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience: 7-10 years in a Sales training, Sales Enablement, or Sales role
  • Instructional Design experience preferred including familiarity with LMS platforms
  • Sales experience required
  • Risk management, insurance and/or healthcare industry experience preferred

Life at Pareto Health

Pareto Health forms and manages employee benefit group captives that allow employers to reduce costs and increase control over its employee benefit program. We serve as the management team of the group captive, representing the interests of the group. We offer employers with between 50 and 500 employees access to existing group captives and we create new group captives for groups of employers. We assist the group captive choose a policy issuing carrier, negotiate the reinsurance agreement, and underwrite new and renewal members. We work with the employers to develop and execute a multi-year business plan and provide management reports and tools to measure progress of the plan. Since we are not a broker, consultant, or a captive (domicile) management company, we are not conflicted by also representing individual employers as their broker or by also underwriting on behalf of the insurance carrier. Weᅢᄁ¬ツᆲ¬トᄁre focused only on the performance of the group captive.
