Pair Eyewear is in search of a Senior Key Account Manager (North America) to bolster our Wholesale team. As a Senior Key Account Manager, you'll assume a pivotal role in nurturing and overseeing strategic partnerships with established optical retail accounts. Your primary duties will encompass surpassing sales objectives, cultivating relationships with current and prospective accounts, and ensuring the seamless implementation of key account procedures. Moreover, you'll contribute strategically to assortment planning, pitch decks, and the evaluation of key account performance.
This role entails business development, sales prospecting, and overseeing the (P&L) for designated accounts, with a sharp focus on achieving annual growth objectives. Collaborating on joint marketing initiatives and maintaining effective communication with internal teams are fundamental aspects of this position.What You’ll Do:
- Develop, manage and grow strategic partnerships with existing chain optical accounts in North America.
- Deliver/exceed sales targets by consistently engaging with active accounts, seeking new opportunities, and managing customer relationships.
- Ensure consistent execution for our key accounts by managing and communicating business processes through internal teams including product design/development, marketing, executive management and operations.
- Provide strategic input in the creation of assortment plan, pitch decks and reporting on key account performance.
- Business development and sales prospecting and engagement with targeted new accounts.
- Responsible for account P&L and annual growth targets.
- Create forecasts and update senior management regularly.
- Co-own account joint marketing campaign.
- Create Client Strategy, Engagement and Action Plans.
- Collaborate with other Globals teams and other markets / functional units, and sharing knowledge and best practice effectively.
Who You Are:
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, demonstrating a keen ability to understand and address the unique business needs of customers.
- Highly effective communicator, in both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines, ensuring efficient coordination and organization of various activities.
- Strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
Need To Have:
- 8+ years of direct sales experience in the retail or whsl within the eyecare/optical industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Monday, Looker or any other CRM system
- Ability to travel extensively with frequent overnights, market visits, client meetings, trade shows, industry networking events.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in managing national or regional retail chain accounts.
- Knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights.
- Understanding of retail merchandising and assortment planning principles.
- Experience in joint marketing campaigns and collaboration with cross-functional teams
