Your Impact
As a Principal Product Manager, you will be pivotal in orchestrating the evolution and success of our internal core underwriting platform, and user facing experience used by brokers, owning the core digital experience. Your role extends beyond management; it is one that innovates, integrates, and inspires. You would be responsible for managing a team of 2 PMs.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the platform’s strategic vision, aligning it with At-Bay’s mission to transform digital risk management.
- Guide and mentor a high-performing team, setting professional standards and encouraging growth and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement product strategies that enhance our platform's user experience and technical robustness.
- Utilize integrated problem-solving skills to identify and address complex challenges, crafting solutions with meaningful, long-term impact.
- Conduct rigorous user research to deeply understand broker needs, translating insights into user-centric software solutions.
- Develop and oversee a robust project management framework, ensuring timely delivery of product initiatives with exceptional quality.
- Foster a culture of communication and collaboration, engaging with diverse perspectives to enrich product innovation and execution.
- Leverage technical acumen to influence product design and feature specifications, ensuring alignment with the latest industry standards.
- Define and monitor KPIs to assess product performance and drive continuous improvement, establishing At-Bay as a thought leader in the space.
Attributes and Qualifications
- 5+ years Product Management experience
- Experience in B2B software, combination of startup & corporate experience.
- Demonstrable experience in strategic planning, user experience design, and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Adept at fostering teamwork and leading cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of advocating for product vision and engaging stakeholders across all levels.
- Deep technical expertise, especially in network and database concepts, and a user-first approach to product development.
- Agile in shifting focus from high-level strategic thinking to granular details of product execution.
