The role:
As a Senior Software Engineer within our Billing Enablement team, you will play a key role in developing core areas of our new billing platform. You'll take the lead on tasks related to discovering new features and planning their implementation. Additionally, you'll be actively involved in new projects, providing valuable technical expertise and shaping the future of our billing platform.You’ll collaborate with multiple teams, alongside engineers, product managers, and designers. Getting involved in a wide range of areas which will provide you with plenty of opportunities to develop your own skills and ultimately grow your career as a valued member of the engineering team.

What you'll do:
Develop high traffic APIs used by hundreds of thousands users per month
Engineer high-performance background workers for consuming queues
Practise DevOps, you’re responsible for getting your code to production and supporting it
Use the latest AWS services available to run your code
Help design a stable platform to support phenomenal growth
Mentoring and coaching other engineers
Play a part in an agile team, either kanban or scrum as needed

You have experience designing and building systems to handle high traffic at scale in a cloud-based environment in AWS
